Nice to meet you

This isn't my first incursion into blogging. It's my third. Apparently I have a hard time sticking with things. Or maybe I allowed life to get in the way of writing and blogging was the first casualty. Or maybe I hadn't found my confidence, my ability, my voice. 

I have now found and embraced that voice, after several hard-fought years of searching and uncovering and healing. But I still don't have a "niche." I will write about anything that crosses my path, both literally and metaphorically. I write because I have thoughts that are just as important as anyone else's, they just don't happen to fall into a category of "lifestyle" or "home improvement" or "culinary." I'm actually likely to write about any of those things at any given time. (Well, not culinary. I don't cook.) My niche is simply random. Sundry. Arbitrary, even.  And it's taken me a long time to finally recognize and accept that I wasn't meant to fit a mold, that my passions extend wider than a mere niche-flavored element. 

So, may you enjoy this, my fanciful foray into niche-less, and therefore bounds-less, blog.
